Welcome to another tutorial from me. However, I would categorize this as advanced since it is a bit more complex than my previous ones. So, you should already know where to find image corrections and actions and how to use them :)
What we need:
- Senku
- Texture 01 from Pinterest
- Texture 02 from Pinterest
- Texture 02-02 from Pinterest
- Texture 03 from Pinterest
- Texture 04 from Pinterest
- Texture 05 from Pinterest
- Gradient from Evey-V @ DeviantART
- Light effects from Unknown
- Topaz Clean Settings Action by me
- Coloring 01 by REAPERES @ DeviantART
- Coloring 02 by me
- Coloring 03 by me & psd 24 - Hive @ Tumblr
- Main font
- Sub font is Times New Roman
Step 01
First, we create a new document with a size of 450x220px.
Step 02
We take Texture 01 and place Texture 01 on top.

Step 03
Now we immediately add Texture 02, placing it in the center and setting it to multiply with an opacity of 61%. You can erase the images of Senku; we only need the chemical formulas.

Step 03
Now comes Texture 02-02, which we also set to multiply at 100% opacity.

Step 04
Next, we take Texture 03 and also set it to multiply at 100% opacity.

Step 05
Set Texture 04 to linear burn at 77% opacity.

Step 06
Now, we take the PNG of Senku and place it in the center, slightly overlapping the shape with his hair. We duplicate Senku once. The lower layer is set to color burn at 100% opacity. The upper layer remains on normal, but we reduce the opacity to 30-40%.

Step 07
Now, the textures take a break. We use Coloring 01 and the light effects, placing them onto the graphic. First, the coloring at 65% opacity, then the light effects.

Step 08
Now, we add the text. Super simple - we write a "G" using the Ardenwood font in black, setting the layer to overlay at 88% opacity.
The subtext is Times New Roman in white, size 12pt, also set to overlay at 60% opacity.

Step 09
For Step 9, we simply add a few elements to our graphic:
First, Coloring 01 without any modifications. Then, we place the gradient on top. I erased everything in the mask except for the shape and Senku. The gradient layer is set to saturation at 100% opacity. Finally, we add Coloring 03 on top at 72% opacity.

Step 10
Now, we apply two image corrections: First, a Selective Color Correction (Image -> Adjustments -> Selective Color) with these settings:
![]() |
![]() |

Step 11
Take Texture 05 and place it slightly to the right of Senku, setting the mode to multiply at 84% opacity.

Step 12
If your image appears too bright, you can add an exposure layer on top—this is entirely up to you. I also noticed that Senku and the shape appeared quite green, while the surroundings were blue, which bothered me. So, I created a new layer, filled it with #609667, set it to Hue, and erased everything from Senku and the shape on this layer.

Step 13
We have now reached the end—almost! Now comes my favorite part—Topaz Clean! ♥ I always do it this way: I select all my layers, group them together (CTRL+G), and duplicate the group. Then, I merge the duplicated group into a single image (CTRL+E) and apply the Topaz Clean Action. (For it to work, you must own Topaz Clean.) Then, I duplicate this layer once more and apply Gaussian Blur (Filter -> Blur -> Gaussian Blur) set to 4. I change the layer mode to Radiant Light and lower the opacity to 15% to create a nice glowing effect.
